Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Logistics Associate to join Amazons Fulfillment Operations team. In this role, you will be a vital part of our dynamic logistics network, ensuring that products are efficiently handled, sorted, and dispatched for timely delivery. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining smooth operations by supporting our fulfillment centers, ensuring products are correctly processed and orders are accurately fulfilled. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of goods and products through the fulfillment process to ensure timely dispatch.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the efficient picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
• Track inventory levels and maintain an organized workspace to minimize errors and delays.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient operations and resolve any operational issues.
• Conduct routine quality checks to ensure the integrity of products being shipped.
• Handle returns and damaged products in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory transactions.
• Participate in regular team meetings to improve performance and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics procedures.
• Comfortable using computer systems and software to track inventory and orders.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Experience

• Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or fulfillment operations is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory control software is advantageous.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, with varying shift hours.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary.
• Shifts may vary and include morning, afternoon, and evening schedules.
