Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, robotics, and other automated machinery.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and technical issues promptly.
• Work with the management team to prioritize equipment repair and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians and warehouse associates on equipment handling and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations related to equipment usage and maintenance.
• Coordinate with other departments to support the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce equipment-related disruptions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in equipment maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, including automated systems, conveyors, and material handling machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related technical field, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Experience with automated systems, robotics, and conveyors is highly desirable.
• Prior experience working in a high-volume logistics or distribution center is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and tasks.
