Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately sort incoming and outgoing parcels based on destination, size, and priority.
• Ensure that packages are correctly labeled and scanned, maintaining high levels of accuracy.

• Operate sorting equipment and manual processes to prepare packages for shipment.
• Perform quality checks to identify damaged or misrouted packages and escalate them to the appropriate team.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to Amazons safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading packages from delivery vehicles.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues in the sorting process to supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance sorting efficiency and reduce errors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and scanning device skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.

Experience:

• Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or a similar fast-paced environment is preferred but not required.
• Experience with package handling, sorting systems, or similar warehouse operations is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Full-time and part-time positions available.
• Shift-based work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexibility required for varying schedules to meet operational needs.
