Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a dedicated and motivated Human Resources Generalist with a focus on Employee Relations. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and handling complex employee relations issues. As an HR Generalist, you will be a key member of our HR team, providing support and guidance to employees and management on various HR matters, while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, workplace disputes, and investigations.
  • Employee Support: Advise and support employees on HR policies, benefits, performance, and personal matters, ensuring a supportive and inclusive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Assist in managing performance issues, including coaching and supporting managers in addressing performance concerns.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies by maintaining accurate records of employee interactions, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs to employees and management on topics related to employee relations, workplace behavior, and compliance.
  • Exit Procedures: Oversee exit interviews and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for departing employees while gathering valuable feedback.
  • Reporting: Generate reports and analysis on employee relations trends, including turnover, employee satisfaction, and conflict resolution, to help guide HR strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in employee relations or human resources, with a focus on conflict resolution, performance management, and labor law compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain objective and calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and employee management systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role or a related field, with at least 1 year focused on employee relations.
  • Experience handling complex employee issues and investigations, preferably in a corporate or large organization setting.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, with flexible working hours.
  • Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.
  • Hybrid work model with some flexibility for remote work.

  • Strong Understanding of Labor Laws: In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations that impact employee relations.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and provide data-driven insights related to employee relations.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects efficiently while maintaining quality work standards.
