Job Summary

IT Sight Technologies is seeking passionate and qualified individuals for remote Online Tutoring and Academic Support roles. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in various academic subjects.
• Assist students with homework, assignments, and exam preparations.
• Provide academic support in areas such as Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and other specialized subjects.
• Create personalized lesson plans and resources to cater to individual student needs.
• Assess students academic performance and provide feedback on areas of improvement.
• Ensure that learning sessions are engaging, informative, and clear.
• Maintain regular communication with students and parents (if applicable) to track academic progress.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to continuously improve tutoring techniques.
• Adhere to scheduled hours and ensure prompt attendance in tutoring sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Mathematics, Science, Literature).
• Strong understanding of academic subjects and curriculum requirements for different education levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Patience, creativity, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or academic coaching is preferred.
• Proficiency with digital learning tools and virtual classroom platforms.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.

Experience

• At least 1-2 years of experience in teaching, tutoring, or academic support roles is preferred.
• Experience in online education platforms or remote tutoring is a plus.
• Prior experience in helping students with exam preparations or standardized test preparation is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours, allowing for part-time or full-time commitments.
• Evening and weekend availability may be required to accommodate students schedules.
• Tutors are expected to commit to a regular weekly schedule and work with students for consistent academic support.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of the subject(s) being taught.
• Familiarity with virtual teaching tools and educational platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to assess and adapt to the diverse learning needs of students.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and the academic team.
• Good problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to help students understand difficult concepts.
