Job Summary:

OneTech Associates is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote QA Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. As a QA Manual Tester, you will be responsible for creating and executing manual test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure product quality. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on project requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of web and mobile applications.
• Identify, report, and track bugs and issues using test management and bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure thorough understanding of project requirements and timely issue resolution.
• Review and analyze system specifications to ensure complete test coverage.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Work closely with the automation testing team to support testing efforts and ensure alignment with automation processes.
• Provide regular status reports and feedback to the management team on testing progress.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate to improve testing processes and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a QA Manual Tester with a strong focus on manual testing methodologies.
• Solid understanding of software testing processes, including test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).
• Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in writing detailed and accurate bug reports.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Experience with various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance) is preferred.

Working Hours:

• This is a remote position with flexible working hours.
• You will be required to manage your schedule to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members across different time zones.
