This role is responsible for defining and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for technical products that enhance the shopping experience for millions of Amazon customers. The PMT will collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and business teams to drive seamless and personalized shopping experiences.
Define and develop the product strategy and roadmap for Central Shopping Experience features, ensuring alignment with Amazons long-term goals.
Work closely with engineering teams to build scalable and high-performance technical solutions that improve customer experience.
Lead cross-functional teams to develop, launch, and iterate on innovative shopping features.
Utilize data analytics and machine learning insights to identify trends, optimize performance, and enhance customer engagement.
Develop detailed business requirements, user stories, and success metrics for new and existing features.
Partner with UX designers to create intuitive and engaging shopping experiences.
Drive continuous product improvements based on customer feedback, data analysis, and industry trends.
Communicate progress, challenges, and results to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong technical background.
Experience leading product development with engineering teams in an agile environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering customer-centric solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams.
Experience with A/B testing, user research, and performance metrics analysis.
Familiarity with cloud computing, APIs, and scalable system architectures is a plus.
Proven track record of successfully managing and launching technology-driven consumer products.
Experience in e-commerce, retail, or a customer-focused digital product environment.
Experience working with AI/ML-powered personalization, recommendations, or search technologies is a plus.
