Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The primary focus of this role is on accurate data entry, management, and organization of spreadsheets using Excel and similar tools. As part of a dynamic remote workforce, you will play a critical role in ensuring the companys data integrity and smooth operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input, update, and maintain data in Excel spreadsheets and other database systems.
- Perform quality checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data entries.
- Develop, modify, and organize spreadsheets for efficient reporting and analysis.
- Use advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to organize and analyze data.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Prepare reports and summaries from entered data as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas, Pivot Tables, and conditional formatting.
- High attention to detail and exceptional accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with other spreadsheet software like Google Sheets is a plus.
Experience
- Previous experience in data entry or administrative support is preferred.
- Experience with Excel-based data analysis and spreadsheet management is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of database systems or tools will be an advantage.
Working Hours
- Flexible remote schedule: 25–40 hours per week.
- Must be available during standard business hours to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
