Job Summary:

OneTech Associates is currently seeking dedicated and customer-focused Counter Staff to join our team at Branded Foodcourt. As a part-time Counter Staff member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the food court environment. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
  • Efficiently and accurately process transactions, including cash and electronic payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure food items are prepared and served according to food safety standards.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Stock and restock inventory as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet customer demand and ensure timely service.
  • Handle food preparation and packaging as required by the food courts procedures.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
  • Assist in promoting specials or new menu items to customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service focus and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and change.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in food service or retail (preferred but not required).

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the food service or retail industry.
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced or high-volume setting is an advantage.

Working Hours:

  • Part-time, flexible hours.
  • Shifts will vary based on foodcourts operational hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Approximately 20-30 hours per week.

  • Customer Service Expertise: Ability to interact positively and professionally with customers.
