Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking dedicated and hardworking Dairy Farm Workers for full-time positions on approved dairy farms in Canada. As part of the team, you will be responsible for assisting with the care of dairy animals, performing various farming tasks, and contributing to the smooth operation of the farm.

Key Responsibilities

• Milking cows and ensuring milk is collected, stored, and processed according to farm standards.
• Feeding and monitoring the health and well-being of livestock.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of barns, stalls, and equipment.
• Assisting with the operation and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment.
• Monitoring animal behavior and alerting farm managers to any signs of illness or distress.
• Maintaining farm records related to animal health, milking schedules, and feed management.
• Helping with the seasonal activities like breeding, calving, and harvesting.
• Following all farm safety regulations and protocols.
• Working closely with farm supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of dairy farming operations is preferred.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and in all weather conditions.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle farm equipment safely and efficiently.
• Understanding of animal care and welfare.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow in the field.

Experience

• Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or animal husbandry is an advantage, but not required.
• On-the-job training will be provided for candidates with no prior dairy farm experience.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with flexible shifts, typically ranging from 40 to 60 hours per week.
• Early mornings, evenings, and weekend work are common.
