Job Summary:

Fresher Jobs Hub is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Poultry Farm Workers. This is a full-time, LMIA approved role offering a work permit. The successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a poultry farm, ensuring optimal care for poultry, maintaining farm cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for poultry, including feeding, watering, and monitoring overall health.
• Clean and maintain poultry pens, coops, and surrounding areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Monitor poultry for signs of illness or injury and report any issues to the farm supervisor.
• Operate and maintain farm equipment such as feeders, waterers, and cleaning tools.
• Assist in egg collection and ensure proper storage.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed to minimize risks to health and safety.
• Work collaboratively with other farm workers to achieve daily production targets.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of poultry and feed supplies.
• Perform routine farm maintenance duties as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• No formal education required, but high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in a farm or agricultural environment is an advantage, but not essential.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and handle the physical aspects of farm work.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in identifying the health and welfare of poultry.
• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as required.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.

Experience:

• While prior experience in poultry farming is an asset, we are open to hiring entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn.
• Any experience with farm equipment, livestock management, or animal care is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position (40+ hours per week).
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• The working hours will vary depending on farm needs, typically ranging from early mornings to late evenings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of poultry farming practices and animal welfare is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with others.
• Physical stamina and endurance to handle repetitive tasks and work long hours.
• Willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of the farm and learn new skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure.
