Job Summary

OneTech Associates is seeking a responsible, energetic, and caring individual to provide weekend babysitting services for families in our network. This is an excellent opportunity for high school students who are looking for part-time work while gaining valuable childcare experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, organized, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children during scheduled hours.
• Engage children in fun and age-appropriate activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play.
• Assist with light meal preparation and ensure children eat meals/snacks as per parents instructions.
• Help with homework or school projects if required.
• Follow bedtime routines, including reading stories and ensuring children are ready for bed.
• Maintain clear communication with parents regarding the days activities, behaviors, and any concerns.
• Keep the play area clean and organized at the end of each shift.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older (parental permission required for minors).
• A genuine interest in working with children and creating a positive environment for them.
• Basic knowledge of child safety and first aid is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple children or tasks effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and organized.
• Must have access to transportation to and from the job site.

Experience

• No prior professional babysitting experience is required, though it is a plus.
• Volunteer experience with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or assisting in youth programs) will be highly valued.

Working Hours

• Saturdays and Sundays, typically between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, depending on family needs.
• Flexibility to adjust hours based on specific scheduling requirements.

• Ability to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children.
• Creativity to plan activities and games that align with childrens interests and development.
• Strong problem-solving skills to handle emergencies or unplanned situations calmly.
