Apple Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mac OS X & Apple Device Administrator to manage, maintain, and support Apple ecosystems for our diverse range of users. This role is crucial to ensuring seamless operations across Apple devices, software, and services. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hybrid work environment, combining both remote and on-site responsibilities to deliver optimal user experience, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement innovative solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, deploy, and manage Apple devices (MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, etc.) across the organization.
  • Administer and maintain macOS environments, including software installations, updates, and patches.
  • Manage Apple-specific tools, such as Jamf Pro, Apple School/Business Manager, and MDM (Mobile Device Management) systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure security compliance, including encryption, system updates, and backup solutions for all Apple devices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Apple ecosystems with cross-platform environments and infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain documentation for workflows, procedures, and user guides.
  • Provide technical support to end-users via remote or on-site assistance.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance team members understanding of Apple products and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in macOS and iOS operating systems, with in-depth knowledge of Apple devices and ecosystems.
  • Strong expertise in managing Jamf Pro or similar Apple Device Management solutions.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or AppleScript for automation purposes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking protocols, device security, and system integration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and clients.

Experience

  • A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in Apple system administration, IT support, or a related role.
  • Proven experience with Apple Business/School Manager and integration with MDM systems.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with flexible hours to support remote work and on-site responsibilities as needed.
  • Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend support for critical tasks or emergencies.
