Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Perform system updates, upgrades, and patch management on Mac OS X devices.
• Assist in configuring and deploying Mac OS X systems for new users and teams.
• Document technical solutions, troubleshooting steps, and best practices in knowledge bases.
• Monitor and maintain system performance and security standards.
• Train users on Mac OS X features and functionality to maximize productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• In-depth knowledge of Mac OS X operating systems and Apple hardware.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to software, hardware, and networks.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting tools such as Terminal, Activity Monitor, and Disk Utility.
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions for Mac systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing top-notch support.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably with a focus on Mac OS X systems.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a plus.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours, with the expectation to adapt to different time zones when necessary.
• Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends for critical updates or emergencies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of Apple ecosystems, including iCloud, iTunes, and related services.

• Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python) is an advantage.
