Apple Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team as a Support & Troubleshooting Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the seamless operation of Apple systems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and providing expert support to enhance the performance and reliability of Apple products and services. Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Apple systems, including macOS, iOS devices, servers, and enterprise solutions.
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and network configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and security protocols.
- Manage and optimize system performance, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
- Develop and document technical solutions, best practices, and support procedures for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular system audits and identify potential risks, proposing solutions to mitigate them.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users and junior engineers to enhance technical understanding.
- Stay updated on Apple technologies and products, incorporating new knowledge into day-to-day operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Strong expertise in macOS, iOS, and Apple hardware, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in enterprise environments.
- Solid knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and security principles.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python) for task automation.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification in Apple technologies (e.g., ACSP, ACTC) is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, IT support, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing Apple environments in a corporate or enterprise setting.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise deployment and management tools (e.g., Jamf Pro, Apple Configurator).
Working Hours
- Standard working hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday), with occasional on-call support as required.
- Flexible working options may be available depending on project requirements.
