Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support network solutions for Mac OS X systems to ensure efficient connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues related to Apple devices.
  • Perform system upgrades, software updates, and security patches while maintaining minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Mac OS X systems with enterprise-level infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, network traffic, and troubleshoot latency or performance issues.
  • Provide expert advice and training to internal and external stakeholders on Apple systems and software.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for security and data protection.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mac OS X system architecture, command-line tools, and network protocols.
  • Expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and wireless network configurations for Apple devices.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory integration with Mac OS X systems.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Console, and Activity Monitor.
  • Experience with Apple MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf Pro, Apple Configurator).
  • Ability to identify and solve issues quickly and effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Relevant certifications such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified IT Professional (ACITP) are preferred.

Experience

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Mac OS X network and system support roles.
  • Proven track record of working in enterprise environments and managing Apple systems infrastructure.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with flexible hours, requiring availability for on-call support during critical periods.
