Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions for Mac OS endpoints across Apples global environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure endpoint protection aligns with organizational security policies and compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain security configurations and policies for Mac OS systems.
• Lead efforts to detect, analyze, and respond to security threats targeting endpoint devices.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses for Mac OS systems and recommend solutions.
• Automate and streamline endpoint security processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices to proactively improve Apples security posture.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to IT teams and stakeholders regarding endpoint protection and Mac OS security.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Mac OS security architecture, endpoint management, and protection tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and security configurations.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.
• Familiarity with Mac OS system vulnerabilities, patch management, and secure configurations.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including encryption, authentication, and access control.
• Experience with monitoring tools and techniques for detecting and mitigating security incidents.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security risks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in IT security, with at least 3 years specializing in Mac OS security and endpoint protection.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time role, Monday through Friday.
• Flexible working arrangements, including remote work options, depending on project requirements.
• Availability for on-call rotation to address critical security incidents when needed.
