Job Summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a talented and dedicated Technical Engineer specializing in Security & Infrastructure. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage advanced security and infrastructure solutions to ensure the performance, scalability, and integrity of Apples systems and networks. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage security protocols to protect infrastructure against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain scalable and high-performing infrastructure solutions to support business needs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure performance issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans to identify and address security gaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures across platforms and products.
• Research and implement new security and infrastructure technologies to enhance system capabilities.
• Develop detailed documentation for infrastructure systems, workflows, and security procedures.
• Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to minimize risks and downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are a plus.
• Proven expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure), and network architecture.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and encryption protocols.
• Deep understanding of compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to adapt to complex challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a collaborative environment.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security and/or infrastructure engineering role.
• Prior experience in managing enterprise-level infrastructure systems.
• Demonstrated track record of deploying and maintaining secure systems in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

• Full-time role: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Flexibility may be required to address critical issues or emergencies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of security testing tools (e.g., Wireshark, Metasploit) and techniques.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing risks and vulnerabilities.
• Strong knowledge of Apples ecosystem and products is highly desirable.
