Job Summary:

IT Sight Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Legal Data Entry Clerk to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for entering and maintaining legal data accurately into our systems. You will work closely with legal teams to ensure the timely and accurate processing of documents and data. This is a full-time, work-from-home position ideal for individuals who are proactive, organized, and have a keen eye for detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Input legal data into the companys database and ensure accurate, timely, and efficient data entry.
  • Review legal documents, including contracts, court filings, and other legal paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update legal records, files, and databases with confidential information in accordance with legal protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations when processing and storing sensitive legal data.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to clarify any inconsistencies or discrepancies in data.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure the integrity of legal data and rectify any discrepancies.
  • Assist with document retrieval, scanning, and filing as required.
  • Respond to inquiries related to legal data, ensuring excellent customer service standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree or higher preferred).
  • Proven experience in data entry, with a focus on legal or administrative work is an asset.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of legal terminology and document formatting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with legal documents, including contracts, court documents, and legal filings is preferred.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, remote position.
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible working hours available).
