Job Summary

Amazon is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse & Stock Assistant to join our team for evening shifts. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about maintaining efficient stock operations. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and organizing grocery inventory to ensure seamless operations in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming grocery shipments, inspect for accuracy, and stock shelves accordingly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized and easy to access.
• Pick and pack grocery items for orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified).
• Keep the work environment clean and follow all safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain product freshness.
• Support other warehouse operations as needed to meet business demands.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) safely.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse inventory systems (training will be provided).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or logistics role is preferred but not required.
• Experience handling grocery products is a plus.

Working Hours

• Evening shifts (e.g., 4 PM – 10 PM or 5 PM – 11 PM) – flexible scheduling available.
• Weekend availability may be required based on business needs.

• Attention to detail when handling stock and fulfilling orders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
