Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is currently hiring home-based medical transcriptionists to join our team. This role involves listening to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals and converting them into written reports, summaries, or other medical documents. The ideal candidate has excellent listening skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of medical terminology. Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe and edit medical reports, consultation notes, and patient histories based on physician dictations.
• Ensure accuracy and proper use of medical terminology, grammar, and formatting.
• Review and proofread transcriptions for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
• Research and clarify unclear medical terminology using reference materials or by consulting professionals.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Submit completed reports within deadlines while ensuring high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, if needed, to verify dictation accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation.
• Excellent listening and typing skills (minimum speed of 50 words per minute preferred).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with transcription software and word-processing tools.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Experience

• Previous experience in medical transcription is preferred but not required—we welcome applications from freshers with strong language and typing skills.
• Certification in medical transcription or healthcare documentation is a plus but not mandatory.

Working Hours

• Flexible work schedule based on assigned tasks.
