Key Responsibilities

• Follow strict confidentiality guidelines to protect patient information in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
• Research medical terms and treatments to ensure accurate transcription.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals and transcription managers for quality assurance.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high transcription accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent listening and comprehension skills, especially for medical terminology.
• Strong typing speed with high accuracy.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
• Ability to use transcription software and word processing tools efficiently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong editing skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality rules.
• Good time management and ability to work independently.

Experience

• Prior experience in medical transcription is preferred but not mandatory.
• Freshers with relevant training or certifications in medical transcription are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with speech recognition software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus.
