Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking detail-oriented Medical Reports Transcriptionists to join our growing team. As a Medical Reports Transcriptionist, you will convert voice recordings from healthcare professionals into accurate written documents. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while ensuring high-quality medical transcription services.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe medical reports, summaries, and patient records from dictated recordings.
• Edit and proofread transcriptions for grammatical, spelling, and formatting accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Research medical terminology and procedures to ensure accurate documentation.
• Use speech recognition software and word-processing tools efficiently.
• Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify unclear dictations when necessary.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality transcription standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to type at least 60-80 words per minute (WPM) with high accuracy.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology is a plus.
• Proficiency in using transcription software, word processors (MS Word, Google Docs), and foot pedals.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information securely.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

Experience

• Entry-level to experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience as a Medical Transcriptionist, Medical Scribe, or in a related field is preferred but not required.
• Training or certification in medical transcription is an advantage but not mandatory.
