Job Summary:

As a Key Account Manager - Client Management, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important clients. You will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, drive revenue growth, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver outstanding service. Your role will involve business development, strategic planning, and operational management to optimize client engagement and retention.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their business needs are met effectively.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing queries and concerns promptly.

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities within existing client portfolios.

  • Work closely with internal departments (operations, logistics, finance, and customer support) to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.

  • Develop and implement client-specific strategies to enhance service quality and efficiency.

  • Handle contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and service-level agreements to meet both client and company expectations.

  • Prepare and present reports on account performance, market trends, and potential growth opportunities.

  • Resolve any client issues efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A Masters degree (MBA) is a plus.

  • Proven experience in key account management, client relations, or business development within the logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain industry.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.


Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in key account management, client servicing, or sales.

  • Experience in e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, or a related sector is highly preferred.


Working Hours:

  • Standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM) with flexibility for client meetings and urgent requirements.

  • Occasional travel may be required based on client needs.
