Job Summary:

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Manual and Automation) to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing tests, identifying issues, and ensuring software meets high-quality standards. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and contribute to the development of both manual and automated test frameworks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases for manual and automated testing of software applications.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of test plans and testing procedures.
  • Review and provide feedback on requirement specifications, user stories, and design documents.
  • Continuously improve testing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and tools related to quality assurance and testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in manual testing and automation testing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests within them.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in QA engineering, with both manual and automation testing.
  • Experience with performance testing and load testing tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience in testing mobile applications is an added advantage.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position (40 hours/week).
  • Flexible working hours with the option for remote work, depending on project needs.
  • Occasional overtime may be required during critical project deadlines.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, QTP, JMeter, etc.).
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze software functionality, understand requirements, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detecting bugs and issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.
  • Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
