Job Summary

Amazon is seeking reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team in Toronto, ON. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to customers in a timely and professional manner. You will play a key role in ensuring excellent customer service by safely and efficiently transporting items to their designated locations. Key Responsibilities

• Load packages into the delivery vehicle and ensure they are secured properly.
• Follow designated routes using GPS navigation to deliver packages efficiently.
• Deliver packages to customers doorsteps while adhering to safety and company guidelines.
• Provide a friendly and professional experience for Amazon customers.
• Maintain an accurate delivery log and report any issues encountered during the delivery process.
• Follow traffic laws and Amazons safety policies to ensure a secure driving experience.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and the support team regarding delivery status or any obstacles encountered.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A valid G-class drivers license (or equivalent).
• A clean driving record with no major violations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using GPS and mobile applications for navigation and tracking deliveries.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a delivery route efficiently.
• Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is an asset.

Working Hours

• Flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with Torontos roadways and neighborhoods is a plus.
• Ability to handle challenging weather conditions while driving.
• Basic problem-solving skills to manage unexpected delivery issues.
• Attention to detail to ensure all packages are delivered correctly.
