Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a passionate and experienced Competition Math Teacher to conduct online classes for students preparing for competitive mathematics exams. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques, along with excellent teaching skills. This role requires delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of various skill levels, helping them build confidence and excel in national and international math competitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality online math lessons tailored to competition preparation.

• Teach problem-solving strategies and advanced mathematical concepts relevant to Olympiads and other math contests.

• Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and practice materials aligned with competition standards.

• Conduct interactive and engaging classes to encourage student participation.

• Provide individualized support and feedback to help students improve their problem-solving skills.

• Assess student performance and track progress through quizzes, assignments, and mock tests.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and formats of national and international math competitions.

• Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and areas of improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in advanced mathematics, including algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

• Prior experience teaching mathematics for competitive exams (such as Math Olympiads, AMC, IMO, etc.).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Whiteboard tools, etc.).

• Ability to motivate and engage students in a virtual learning environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching competitive math courses.

• Experience in coaching students for high-level math contests is a plus.

• Familiarity with international math competition formats is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Flexible schedule with options for full-time or part-time engagement.

• Evening and weekend classes may be required based on student availability.
