Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Medical Store Counter Salesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in purchasing medicines, maintaining inventory, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a smooth and efficient store operation. Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding and purchasing the required medicines and healthcare products.
• Provide information about medicine usage, dosage, and potential side effects as per prescription.
• Handle cash, card, and digital transactions efficiently at the counter.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and stock inventory.
• Ensure the store shelves are well-stocked and neatly arranged.
• Coordinate with suppliers to restock medicines and medical supplies.
• Verify prescriptions and consult the pharmacist for any queries.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the store.
• Keep updated with new medicines and products available in the pharmacy.
• Address customer inquiries and provide excellent service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional pharmacy-related certifications are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of medicines and healthcare products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate billing and POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling prescriptions and transactions.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and billing management.

Experience

• 0 to 2 years of experience in a medical store or pharmacy is preferred.
• Freshers with strong customer service skills and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
