Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting system and network issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system security and data integrity.

  • Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices for future reference.

  • Assist in system upgrades, patches, and software deployments.

  • Monitor IT infrastructure and escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.

  • Train employees on IT systems and best practices to enhance technical knowledge.

  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols.

  • Participate in IT projects and provide recommendations for improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows, Mac OS, and other operating systems.

  • Familiarity with networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

  • Knowledge of hardware components such as servers, desktops, laptops, and printers.

  • Proficiency in IT ticketing systems and remote troubleshooting tools.

  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

  • A proactive attitude with a keen interest in learning new technologies.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support, technical support, or a related role.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment handling multiple support requests.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position with standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM).

  • Availability for occasional after-hours support as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of operating systems and IT infrastructure.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
