Key Responsibilities

• Listen to and transcribe audio recordings from doctors and other healthcare professionals.

• Follow guidelines for medical terminology, formatting, and confidentiality.
• Review and proofread transcriptions to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain patient confidentiality as per HIPAA and other industry regulations.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify unclear dictations when needed.
• Submit transcriptions within the required turnaround time.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• No prior experience required (training will be provided).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong listening skills and ability to understand different accents.
• Good typing speed (minimum 40 words per minute preferred).
• Basic knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with word processing software.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment.

Experience

• No prior experience necessary – this role is designed for freshers.
• Any experience in transcription, data entry, or administrative roles is a plus.
• Medical terminology knowledge is beneficial but not required (training provided).
