Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionists to join our team on a freelance and part-time basis. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe and edit medical reports, dictated by healthcare professionals.

• Interpret and convert medical jargon, abbreviations, and complex terminology into clear and structured documentation.

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with medical and legal guidelines.

• Proofread and review transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and clarity.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

• Meet deadlines while managing multiple assignments effectively.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals when clarification is needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.

• Excellent listening and comprehension skills.

• Strong command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation.

• Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 60 words per minute preferred).

• Familiarity with medical transcription software and tools.

• High attention to detail and ability to recognize discrepancies.

• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Experience

• Previous experience in medical transcription, healthcare documentation, or a related field is preferred.

• Freshers with a certification in medical transcription may also apply.

• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is an advantage.
