Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate buses on assigned routes for public or private transport.

• Ensure the safety of passengers during boarding, transit, and exiting.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.

• Follow traffic laws and company policies to ensure smooth transit operations.

• Assist passengers with special needs, including the elderly and disabled.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bus interior and exterior.

• Adhere to schedules and manage time efficiently to prevent delays.

• Provide excellent customer service and address passenger inquiries politely.

• Monitor road conditions, weather, and traffic updates to ensure smooth travel.

• Maintain records of trips, incidents, fuel usage, and maintenance logs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement.

• Strong knowledge of road safety rules and local traffic laws.

• Ability to handle stressful driving situations calmly and efficiently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Physically fit with the ability to sit for long hours and assist passengers if required.

• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.

• Clean driving record with no history of major violations.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of professional bus driving experience in public or private transport.

• Prior experience handling large passenger vehicles in urban and rural settings.

• Experience in customer service or passenger interaction is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Full-time and part-time shifts available.

• Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
