Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Virtual Footwear Designer to join our team remotely. As a Virtual Footwear Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative footwear collections using digital tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and production, to create trend-forward and functional designs that align with brand identity and market demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Research current fashion and footwear trends to inspire innovative designs.

• Conceptualize and develop footwear designs using digital tools such as Adobe Illustrator, CAD software, and 3D modeling programs.

• Create detailed technical drawings and design specifications for manufacturers.

• Collaborate with material sourcing teams to select sustainable and high-quality materials.

• Work closely with marketing and branding teams to align design concepts with target audiences.

• Revise and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies in footwear design, including 3D printing and digital prototyping.

• Present design ideas and concepts in team meetings and contribute to creative discussions.

• Ensure all designs meet brand standards and production feasibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

• Strong portfolio showcasing footwear design skills and creativity.

• Proficiency in digital design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino, SolidWorks, or CLO3D.

• Knowledge of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Strong understanding of fashion trends and consumer preferences.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in footwear design (internships and freelance projects considered).

• Experience working with remote teams is a plus.

• Familiarity with 3D prototyping and digital modeling is preferred.
