Job Summary:

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a talented and creative Remote Apparel Designer to join our fashion design team. As an Apparel Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative apparel collections that align with current market trends and consumer preferences. Key Responsibilities:

• Create and develop original designs for apparel collections, ensuring alignment with the brands aesthetic and target audience.

• Conduct market research to identify emerging fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles.

• Develop sketches, mood boards, and digital illustrations to communicate design ideas effectively.

• Collaborate with pattern makers, manufacturers, and production teams to bring designs to life.

• Review samples and provide feedback to ensure quality control and design accuracy.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest fashion industry trends and consumer demands.

• Work closely with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure designs meet business goals.

• Adjust and refine designs based on stakeholder feedback and technical feasibility.

• Utilize CAD software and design tools to enhance the creative process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.

• Proven experience in apparel design, preferably in the fashion industry.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CLO 3D.

• Strong artistic skills with the ability to sketch and illustrate design concepts.

• Excellent understanding of fabrics, textiles, and garment construction.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple projects.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

• Attention to detail and a keen eye for fashion aesthetics.

• Experience with trend forecasting and market research.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in apparel or fashion design.

• Experience working in a remote or freelance capacity is a plus.

• Prior experience in sustainable fashion or athleisure wear is advantageous.

Working Hours:

• Flexible working hours with deadlines to meet design and production schedules.

• Must be available for virtual meetings and team collaborations as needed.
