Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Virtual Footwear Designer to join our dynamic remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop original footwear designs from concept to final product.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to create relevant and innovative styles.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and merchandising teams to ensure cohesive brand representation.
• Create detailed technical drawings, CAD designs, and mood boards.
• Ensure designs meet technical, commercial, and sustainability requirements.
• Communicate design concepts clearly with 3D modeling, rendering software, or hand sketches.
• Participate in virtual meetings and design critiques with internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated with new materials, manufacturing techniques, and fashion trends in footwear.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Rhino, CLO 3D, or similar.
• Strong creative vision with a solid understanding of form, function, and aesthetics.
• Ability to create high-quality digital illustrations and technical design specifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a remote environment.

Experience

• Entry-level to 2 years of experience in footwear design or a similar role.
• Previous internship experience within the fashion or footwear industry is a plus.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with the expectation of availability during core collaboration windows (typically 10 AM to 4 PM GMT).
• Fully remote, with occasional virtual team meetings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of current footwear trends, materials, and market dynamics.
• Strong sketching and rendering abilities (digital and hand-drawn).
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into commercially viable designs.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a virtual team.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and materials is desirable.
