Job Summary

Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join leading hospitals and healthcare institutions across Singapore. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and medical staff with daily patient care, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
• Monitor and record patients vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.
• Help patients with their daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support patients emotional and psychological needs, providing companionship and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
• Ensure patient rooms, equipment, and supplies are well-stocked and sanitized.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Handle basic administrative tasks, such as updating patient records and managing medical supplies inventory.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Healthcare Assistance, Nursing Aide, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory for freshers).
• Basic understanding of patient care and nursing procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of patient care duties.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others.

Experience

• Open to fresh graduates and entry-level candidates.
• Previous experience in healthcare settings such as clinics, hospitals, or eldercare facilities will be an advantage.

Working Hours

• Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Shifts may include day, evening, or night schedules depending on hospital requirements.
• Full-time positions with an average of 40–44 hours per week.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with healthcare and hospital protocols.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety standards.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Cultural sensitivity and understanding of patient confidentiality and ethics.
