Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Amazons Computer Vision and Machine Learning teams to design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions.
• Conduct experiments and prototype new algorithms in areas such as object detection, image classification, segmentation, and video analysis.
• Analyze large datasets to gain insights and improve model performance.
• Optimize existing machine learning models for efficiency and scalability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, Data Science, and Product Management to integrate models into production systems.
• Document findings, present research results, and contribute to Amazons AI knowledge base.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in AI, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers), and computer vision techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MXNet.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience

• Previous internship or project experience in machine learning, computer vision, or AI research.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed systems is advantageous.
