Key Responsibilities

- Assist passengers with bookings, flight changes, cancellations, and baggage inquiries.
- Provide detailed information about flight schedules, policies, travel documentation, and loyalty programs.
- De-escalate conflicts and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
- Uphold the American Airlines brand by delivering friendly and courteous service at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college education is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate multiple systems and online platforms.
- Quiet, dedicated home workspace with high-speed internet.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or call center roles (training provided for beginners).
- Previous airline or travel industry experience is advantageous but not required.
Working Hours
- Flexible shifts available (morning, evening, night) including weekends and holidays.
- Full-time: 35–40 hours/week
- Part-time: 15–25 hours/week
- Shift schedule will be discussed and assigned based on your availability and business needs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and CRM software (preferred).
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse customers.
