Job Summary


OneTech Associates is seeking a meticulous and analytical Product QA Engineer – Manual Testing to join our quality assurance team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our digital products meet the highest standards before release. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail, a systematic approach to testing, and a genuine passion for delivering a flawless user experience.




Key Responsibilities



  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed manual test cases based on product requirements and specifications.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to understand product functionalities and identify edge cases.

  • Conduct thorough functional, regression, integration, and usability testing for web and mobile applications.

  • Detect, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

  • Review and analyze system specifications to improve testing processes.

  • Provide timely feedback to the development team and suggest quality improvements.

  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, and product reviews within an Agile/Scrum framework.

  • Work with automation testers to ensure test coverage aligns with manual test execution.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

  • Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.

  • Ability to think from an end-user perspective and design test scenarios accordingly.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or similar.

  • Basic knowledge of databases and ability to run SQL queries for test validation.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.




Experience



  • 2 to 4 years of experience in manual software testing.

  • Experience testing both web and mobile applications across multiple browsers and devices.

  • Experience working in Agile development environments is highly preferred.




Working Hours



  • Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexible timing available depending on project needs).

  • Occasional extended hours may be required during product releases or critical issue resolution.

  • Knowledge of QA best practices and defect lifecycle management.

  • Ability to perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.

  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced development environment.
