Job Summary


OneTech Associates is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Development Operations Intern for a hybrid remote internship position. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in development operations and working closely with a dynamic team. The intern will be exposed to various aspects of operations within a development environment and will contribute to optimizing workflows and supporting internal processes.



Key Responsibilities



  • Assist with monitoring and improving development workflows, including deployment processes, version control, and automation tools.

  • Collaborate with software development teams to ensure smooth operations across various platforms.

  • Provide technical support to development teams, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

  • Help in writing and maintaining documentation related to DevOps processes and tools.

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Assist with system maintenance and troubleshooting of issues in development environments.

  • Support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.

  • Participate in team meetings and provide input on ongoing projects.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the development operations team.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields, or a recent graduate.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

  • Understanding of software development life cycles and deployment pipelines.

  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams.

  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or JavaScript is desirable.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a hybrid remote setup.



Experience



  • Prior internship experience in a technical role is a plus but not required.

  • Experience with development tools such as Docker, Jenkins, or Kubernetes is an advantage.

  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure or DevOps-related tools is highly desirable.



Working Hours



  • This is a hybrid remote internship position with flexible working hours.

  • Interns are expected to work 20-30 hours per week, depending on availability and academic schedule.

  • The internship duration is 3-6 months, with the possibility of extending or transitioning to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
