Job Summary

Dollar Tree is a leading discount variety store offering everyday essentials at unbeatable prices. We are currently seeking energetic, dedicated, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Retail Associates. In this position, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while contributing to the success of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide outstanding service with a friendly and professional attitude.


• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.


• Stock and organize merchandise on the sales floor and in the backroom.


• Assist customers in locating products and making purchase decisions.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including aisles, shelves, and product displays.


• Ensure inventory is properly stocked and report low inventory levels to management.


• Assist in unloading and receiving merchandise shipments.


• Help with store promotions and seasonal displays as needed.


• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of the store environment.


• Perform other duties as assigned by store management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with a wide range of customers.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


• Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.


• Ability to lift and carry merchandise up to 25 pounds.


• Flexible and reliable, with a strong work ethic and punctuality.


• Team player with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Experience

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.


• On-the-job training will be provided for new hires.

Working Hours

• Part-time and full-time positions are available.


• Flexible scheduling options, including weekends and evenings.


• Must be available to work during peak retail periods (holidays, special sales events, etc.).

• Knowledge of retail operations and merchandising techniques.
