Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a talented and detail-oriented E-commerce Product Description Writer to join our growing remote team. In this role, you will craft compelling, SEO-friendly product descriptions for a wide range of online merchandise. Your words will influence purchase decisions, improve user experience, and elevate the visibility of products across multiple e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities



  • Write clear, concise, and engaging product descriptions for a variety of items (fashion, electronics, home décor, beauty, etc.).

  • Conduct in-depth research on product features and benefits to ensure accurate and appealing descriptions.

  • Optimize content using SEO best practices to improve product rankings on marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, and others.

  • Proofread and edit descriptions for grammar, clarity, and brand tone.

  • Collaborate with the product and marketing team to meet daily/weekly content targets.

  • Follow content guidelines and maintain consistency across all product listings.

  • Upload content to online CMS or e-commerce platforms when required.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Excellent written English with strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.

  • Basic understanding of SEO and keyword usage.

  • Ability to write creatively yet accurately.

  • Familiarity with e-commerce or online marketplaces is a plus.

  • Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple products at once.



Experience



  • 0–2 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital marketing.

  • Freshers with strong writing samples are encouraged to apply.

  • Prior experience with e-commerce platforms is a bonus but not mandatory.



Working Hours



  • Flexible working hours — choose between part-time (3–4 hours/day) or full-time (6–8 hours/day).

  • Work from the comfort of your home with self-paced daily task management.

  • Weekly check-ins with the content manager.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Proficiency in MS Word or Google Docs.

  • Knowledge of SEO tools like Ubersuggest or Google Keyword Planner (preferred but not required).

  • Time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to receive and apply feedback constructively.

  • Understanding of e-commerce user behavior and buying psychology (a plus).
