Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during flights, including pre-flight briefings and emergency procedures.
- Demonstrate and enforce safety and emergency procedures as per aviation regulations.
- Deliver top-tier customer service by attending to passenger needs, including food, beverage, and special assistance requests.
- Maintain cabin cleanliness and monitor the functionality of in-flight equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with the flight crew and ground staff to ensure efficient flight operations.
- Address passenger inquiries, resolve concerns, and manage unexpected situations calmly and professionally.
- Comply with aviation and security regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Participate in regular training sessions and performance reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, tourism, or communication is an asset.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus (especially Spanish, French, Mandarin, or Arabic).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to service.
- Must be willing to relocate or travel extensively, including overnight layovers.
- Physically fit – must meet health and grooming standards as outlined by aviation regulations.
Experience
- Entry-Level Applicants: No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Experienced Candidates: Minimum of 1–3 years of cabin crew or customer service experience in aviation, hospitality, or related fields preferred.
Working Hours
- Varying shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnight schedules.
- Rotational rosters based on flight routes, hours, and assignments.
- Full-time and part-time roles available, depending on operational needs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- In-depth understanding of aviation safety protocols and emergency response.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and for long durations during flights.
- Team player mindset with a high level of cultural sensitivity.
- Adept at handling medical emergencies or customer incidents onboard.
- Strong adaptability and situational awareness in a fast-paced environment.
