UPS Logistics is looking for detail-oriented and reliable individuals to join our growing remote operations team as Freight Data Entry Associates. In this critical role, you will support the logistics department by accurately inputting, validating, and managing freight-related data to ensure seamless coordination and tracking of shipments. Key Responsibilities



  • Accurately enter and update freight data including shipment details, tracking numbers, carrier information, and delivery status

  • Review and verify shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms, etc.) for accuracy and completeness

  • Maintain accurate records in UPS logistics systems and databases

  • Coordinate with freight handlers, warehouse teams, and customer service to resolve data discrepancies

  • Ensure compliance with UPS and industry data entry standards

  • Assist in generating regular reports related to freight movement and logistics metrics

  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors as needed



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher is a plus

  • Proficient typing skills (minimum 40 WPM)

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting

  • Familiarity with logistics terminology and documentation preferred

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, email, and online data entry tools

  • Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills



Experience



  • 1+ year of data entry experience preferred

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding is a strong advantage

  • Freshers with excellent computer skills and strong attention to detail are encouraged to apply



Working Hours



  • Flexible working hours available (Part-Time and Full-Time shifts)

  • Multiple shifts offered to accommodate different time zones and availability

  • Weekend availability may be required depending on volume



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Understanding of freight and logistics operations (a plus but not mandatory)

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures

  • Capability to handle repetitive tasks without losing focus

  • Basic knowledge of supply chain and freight management concepts (helpful)

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols
