Key Responsibilities



  • Answer inbound calls from customers regarding healthcare coverage, claims, billing, and general service inquiries.

  • Provide clear, accurate information and empathetic assistance based on customer needs.

  • Document all customer interactions in our system according to standard procedures.

  • De-escalate complex situations with professionalism and empathy.

  • Follow up on customer issues to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company privacy policies.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and typing.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and active listening skills.

  • Professional phone etiquette and a friendly attitude.

  • Must have a quiet and distraction-free home workspace with reliable internet access.




Experience



  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry.

  • Familiarity with health insurance terminology and benefits is a plus.

  • Experience working remotely is beneficial but not mandatory.




Working Hours



  • Full-time positions available with flexible schedules.

  • Shifts may include mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends or holidays.

  • 8-hour shifts with scheduled breaks; schedules will be discussed during the hiring process.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance products and terminology (training provided).

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Resilience under pressure and a genuine desire to help people.

  • Basic understanding of CRM systems or willingness to learn.
