Key Responsibilities



  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and chat inquiries from patients and healthcare providers.

  • Assist with appointment scheduling, billing questions, medical record requests, and general support inquiries.

  • Document all interactions clearly and accurately in the customer service database.

  • Troubleshoot service issues and escalate complex concerns to appropriate departments.

  • Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and internal protocols.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth resolution of customer concerns.

  • Maintain knowledge of Hospital Jobs’ services, updates, and policies to provide accurate assistance.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong active listening and interpersonal abilities.

  • Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and remote communication tools.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Calm under pressure and empathetic towards patients’ needs.




Experience



  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare or tele-support.

  • Previous remote work experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology or healthcare systems is highly desirable.




Working Hours



  • Night shift schedule: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (your local time zone may be considered).

  • Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays, on a rotating schedule.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, chat software, and customer service platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk).

  • Ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality service.
