Job Summary
Fresher Jobs Hub is actively seeking dedicated, hardworking, and motivated individuals to join reputable Canadian dairy farms as Dairy Farm Workers in 2025. This is an LMIA-approved position that allows eligible foreign workers to apply for a Canadian work permit. As a Dairy Farm Worker, you will be responsible for daily farm operations including livestock care, milking, feeding, and equipment maintenance. Key Responsibilities
- Feed, water, and monitor the health and well-being of dairy cattle.
- Operate and maintain milking systems, clean and sanitize milking equipment.
- Assist with calving and breeding procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of animal housing areas including barn cleaning and bedding.
- Ensure proper storage of feed and supplies.
- Identify signs of illness or distress in animals and report to farm manager.
- Maintain daily production and feeding records.
- Operate tractors, loaders, and other farm equipment as needed.
- Comply with all health and safety standards and protocols on the farm.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of animal care and farm procedures.
- Ability to work physically for long hours in varied weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and animal welfare.
- Capable of handling physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to follow directions and work both independently and in a team.
- No formal education required; high school diploma preferred.
- Must be eligible to apply for a Canadian work permit (LMIA Supported).
Experience
- No previous Canadian work experience required.
- Previous farm or animal handling experience (even informal) is an asset.
- On-the-job training will be provided to selected candidates.
Working Hours
- Full-time position: 40β60 hours per week.
- Flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on farm schedule.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with dairy farm machinery and systems is an advantage.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new techniques and tools.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Positive attitude toward teamwork and animal handling.
- Basic English communication skills required; French is a plus (but not mandatory).
