Job Summary


Fresher Jobs Hub is seeking a courteous and dynamic Hotel Receptionist to join our hospitality and tourism team in Singapore. This front-facing role is perfect for candidates who thrive in customer service, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests. As a key representative of our hotel, you will be responsible for delivering a warm welcome and seamless check-in/check-out processes to ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.




Key Responsibilities



  • Greet all guests with a warm and professional demeanor.

  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently using hotel management software.

  • Answer incoming calls, respond to guest inquiries, and handle booking or reservation requests.

  • Provide accurate information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation.

  • Maintain front desk operations, including managing room keys, issuing invoices, and processing payments.

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests promptly.

  • Ensure guest issues and complaints are resolved courteously and efficiently.

  • Uphold hotel security by monitoring visitors and verifying guest identities.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or certification in Hospitality is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, Tamil) are advantageous.

  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional appearance.

  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.




Experience



  • 0–2 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, or front-desk roles.

  • Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.




Working Hours



  • 8-hour shifts; rotating schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

  • Morning and evening shifts available to cover 24/7 front desk operations.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service etiquette.

  • Familiarity with hotel booking systems and CRM tools.

  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
