Job Summary:


Airlink is hiring dedicated and reliable individuals to join our Terminal Hygiene Team as Airport Cleaning Staff. In this essential role, you will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of airport terminals, passenger areas, restrooms, and workspaces — supporting a clean and welcoming environment for travelers and staff.


This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for candidates with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. No prior experience required — full training will be provided.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform regular cleaning of terminal areas, including floors, seating zones, counters, restrooms, and public touchpoints

  • Refill supplies (soap, toilet paper, sanitizers) in washrooms and lounges

  • Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from bins across the terminal

  • Disinfect high-contact surfaces such as elevators, handrails, and baggage trolleys

  • Respond to spills or urgent cleaning needs quickly and efficiently

  • Ensure cleanliness standards are met before, during, and after operational hours

  • Comply with all safety, health, and hygiene regulations set by the airport authority



Eligibility Criteria:



  • Education: Minimum Grade 10 (Matric not mandatory)

  • Age: 18 years and above

  • Language: Basic understanding of English or local language

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift cleaning materials for extended periods

  • Must be able to pass background verification for airport clearance

  • Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays



Preferred Qualities:



  • Reliable, punctual, and cooperative

  • Strong attention to hygiene and cleanliness

  • Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial work (preferred but not required)

  • Team player with a respectful attitude toward coworkers and passengers
