Job Summary:


FlySafair is seeking energetic, well-groomed, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Cabin Crew / Flight Attendants. As a key member of our in-flight team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety, and maintaining onboard standards that reflect FlySafair’s commitment to comfort, care, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during flights

  • Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the aircraft is clean and fully stocked

  • Demonstrate safety procedures and provide assistance in emergency situations

  • Serve food and beverages, handle passenger queries, and assist with special needs

  • Maintain professionalism and calmness in routine and non-routine situations

  • Report safety, medical, or security incidents as per airline protocols

  • Assist during boarding and disembarkation of passengers

  • Uphold the image and service quality of FlySafair at all times




Minimum Requirements:



  • Education: Matric/Grade 12

  • Age: 21–35 years

  • Height: Minimum 1.58 meters (without shoes)

  • Language: Fluent in English; additional South African language is a plus

  • Valid South African passport or eligibility for one

  • Medically fit to fly (will require Civil Aviation medical assessment)

  • Able to swim unaided (mandatory cabin crew requirement)

  • No visible tattoos or piercings while in uniform

  • Willing to relocate or travel frequently based on operational needs




Preferred Experience & Skills:



  • Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or airline cabin crew (advantageous but not mandatory)

  • Friendly, confident, and team-oriented personality

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and follow safety procedures accurately
